- 1 x 200g pkt marie biscuits, crushed
- 125ml margarine
- 1 x (397g) tin condensed milk
- 4.5 cups sugar
- 15ml butter
- 2 extra large eggs
- 80ml cornflour (maizena)
- 5ml vanilla essence
- cinnamon for sprinkling
- Method
- Combine the biscuits and margarine
- Press into two shallow pie dishes or one large deep pie dish, lining the base and sides
- Chill
- Combine the condensed milk, milk and butter in a bowl and microwave for 5 minutes on 100% power
- Beat the eggs, cornflour and vanilla together
- Add to the milk mixture and microwave for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally (with a whisk) to prevent lumps
- The mixture will thicken gradually
- Pour over the biscuits and sprinkle with cinnamon
- Refrigerate until set
