London’s Underground – drug lords, crime and corruption! The Ryan family are London’s criminals and drug lords not to be messed with. But someone is messing with them and they need to find out before it’s too late. People being tracked down and tortured for information. Ruthless killings, foul language. A long story – 628pgs. However, there are detailed accounts of what’s happening and who’s who. Too many characters in the story, but a good read with a couple of twists throughout the story. Need to concentrate to be able to catch on to the plot.

‘Because I hate being told what to do!’ A book on investing for women. A book on financial freedom for women who want to be independant and who do not want to rely on their husband or their job for security. An eye-opening book about 4 women who, after 20 years get together for lunch one day to discuss their lives over the past 20 years. Each has a story to tell about their financial position and about decisions made in their lives. We, especially women, think we can’t afford to invest. Instead we should ask ourselves HOW CAN WE AFFORD IT? It’s never too early or too late to start investing, even if we start small…JUST DO IT!

{October 3, 2007}   New beginnings

Trying out blogging for the first time and I hope this works out. Strill trying to figure out what to do, so if anyone can assist, it would be great. I envisage that we are all able to come together through this blog and we can all be a part of something exciting. We can contribute our thoughts, feelings, ideas etc. We can assist each other and post summaries of the books we have read and we can share so much here. Play around a bit and let me know what you think :-)
